Understand the business first, then judge the price. Tuna puts a company's business quality, balance sheet, management and valuation on one page, with numbers taken from its filings — for China A-shares, Hong Kong and US stocks.
Enter a ticker and Tuna answers each one with numbers from the filings. The final call is yours.
How it makes money and how well: margins, ROIC and cash conversion year by year, plus its segments and competitive position.
Whether debt could sink it in a downturn: net debt, interest coverage and the current ratio, and whether free cash flow stays positive.
How they spend shareholders' money and whether they keep their word: buybacks, dividends, acquisitions and stock compensation, plus guidance set against actual results.
Work out what the market expects before deciding whether it's cheap: valuation multiples, FCF yield, a reverse DCF and the 5-year IRR in three scenarios.
A-shares, Hong Kong and US stocks share one set of panels. Revenue, margins and cash flow are laid out by fiscal year, with revenue broken down by segment and region; AI only writes short notes, each with a citation.
A reverse DCF turns today's price into the growth the market expects and sets it beside the company's own record. Bear, base and bull cases then project five-year returns. AI proposes the scenario assumptions; value and IRR come from fixed formulas.
Where did the free cash flow go — buybacks, dividends or acquisitions? Is the share count shrinking, or being diluted by stock compensation? Tuna also checks recent guidance line by line against actual results and revisits the promises made in annual reports two or three years back.
You don't need to watch the ticker all day, but you can't miss a change in the fundamentals. When a company you follow reports, files or makes news, the daily brief merges the coverage into one paragraph and shows where each sentence came from.
Beyond research: keep up with the companies you own through briefs, the earnings calendar and alerts, and find new candidates with market-wide screens.

Investors who do fundamental research and like to own good businesses for the long run — understanding the business first, then judging the price. Tuna isn't trading software: there's no order entry and no technical indicators, and it doesn't tip stocks or set price targets.
Not at the moment — there is no free plan or trial. Card subscriptions bill monthly or yearly and can be canceled anytime; WeChat Pay and Alipay buy 30 or 365 days at a time and never renew automatically.
For everyday use, yes. To stop bulk scraping and shared accounts, each account can generate up to 10 new company research reports or SEC analyses a day and 150 every 30 days. Opening any report that already exists never counts, and neither does a failed generation.
The first 100 members pay the founding price, about a third below the standard price. Every renewal, a switch to annual billing, or rejoining later is charged at the founding price too.
We'd rather do this well than big, so membership is capped at 1,000. When it's full you can join the waitlist and we'll email you when a seat opens.
Cards through Stripe (USD by default, or CNY or HKD; billed monthly or yearly), plus WeChat Pay and Alipay (CNY or HKD, 30 or 365 days per purchase).
As soon as the payment provider confirms — usually within seconds.
Cancel a card subscription under Settings → Manage subscription; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. One-off purchases simply end when they expire. To switch from monthly to annual, cancel the monthly subscription and buy annual once it ends — a founding price carries over.
